His research interest lies in management accounting, with a particular interest in how organisations use their performance measurement system and gamification to develop incentive systems to control and motivate employees. He is also interested in different kinds of behavioural and psychology-theory-based accounting research. He uses mixed methods for his research, drawing on interviews and other qualitative methods (Netnography) and Survey methods so far.
