Personal profile
Research interests
I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in social anthropology, gender and diversity studies, and sociology. My research interests lie at the nexus of medical anthropology and postcolonial feminist theory. My work traces the production, travel, and contestation of discourses on female genital practices and critically interrogates the transnational campaign against 'female genital mutilation' (FGM).
