Personal profile

Research interests

I am interested in biopolymers, bio/nanocomposites, rubbers, thermoplastics, thermosets, and nanomaterials. I am particularly interested in polymers and composites that are environmentally friendly, recycled, or biobased.

Currently, my research is focused on developing environmentally friendly devulcanization methods. I am using non-toxic and biodegradable media to achieve this. Additionally, I am exploring the applications of biomaterial-reinforced recycled rubber in various fields such as vibration damping, bearings, and structural applications. This research is part of Horizon Europe's Green-Loop Project, which is funded by the EU and UKRI.
