Research interests
I am interested in the interactions between institutions and multinational enterprises (MNEs). This has led me to develop two areas of research. Through my research I have explored how MNEs from emerging economies, particularly Chinese firms, navigate institutional environments, manage risks, and respond to global governance issues. In my second area of research I am interested in understanding how sustainability and ethics in global value chains, including modern slavery legislation and climate strategies, involved through the interaction of MNEs and institutions.
