Personal profile

Research interests

I am Research Associate in palaeobiology working in Prof. Rayfield group. My current research focuses on the functional evolution of the skull during the evolution of lobe-finned fishes and early tetrapods (NERC-funded grant NE/P013090/1).

The wider scope of my research is to understand the evolution of form-function relationships in the musculoskeletal system of living and extinct vertebrates, and how it relates to their adaptation to a broad range of environements.
