Research interests
James' current research interests are in anomaly detection for edge devices using graph neural networks and physical layer key agreement for IoT devices. James supports the SYNERGIA project securing low-power networking communications.
James previously worked on pervasive healthcare monitoring as part of the EurValve project at Bristol where he helped to design and implement the "SPHERE in a box" kit. He previously worked with an industry partner to extract aircraft maintenance information from historical documents. His initial research was on efficient routing and broadcast approaches for IoT networks.
