Personal profile

Research interests

I am interested in how e-cigarette use impacts smoking behaviour and other health factors as well as the factors which influence young people to initiate and continue to use e-cigarettes. I have a broader interest in nicotine use and other risk-taking behaviours. My research portfolio includes the use of a range of epidemiological and psychological methods, including causal inference methods such as Mendelian randomisation. Impact, inclusivity and involvement are key in the design and dissemination of my research, from working with policymakers to co-designing interventions.
