Current projects: 

NIHR School for Primary Care fellowship: 'Accessing Out of Hours Primary Care with Dementia'

  • Developmental and feasibility work for an intervention to improve communication in out of hours primary care for people with dementia.

Brigstow funded co-production project with the Forget Me Nots researchers with dementia

  • Designing a peer support service for people receiving a diagnosis of dementia
     

Ongoing projects: 

GALORE - General and Local Anaesthesia in Emergency Surgery: Qualitative interview study in 8 sites in the South West examining clinician and patient views on anaesthesia in emergency surgery. 

A conversation analysis of the communication of a Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) diagnosis

Systematic review of the use of Conversation Analysis in randomised controlled trials

NAIROS - running the Quintet Recruitment Intervention (QRI) in the NAIROS clinical trial comparing medication and septoplasty in the treatment of deviated septum.
