Personal profile

Research interests

My research focuses on the methods and ethics of co-producing research with people and groups outside of the university. In particular my research explores how to engage with, support and train community researchers and considers how new knowledge is produced through collaborative research. Much of my work has drawn on creative and arts based research methods and I have collaborated with writers, actors, illustrators, visual artists and directors.
