My research interests involve the development of novel optical techniques to study aerosol particles. I recently developed a new technique to perform the first ever controlled light extinction measurements of single particles. I am currently developing the first commercially available aerosol optical tweezers instrument which is funded through an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Award. I am working in collaboration with a company who specialise in the design and manufacture of instruments for weather and aerosol measurements.
