Research interests
My research is focused on understanding methods to improve the reliability and sustainability of micro-hydropower in Nepal. I am interested in the connection of technical, social and economic factors that affect how a hydropower plant performs. By considering how projects are developed, the capabilities of stakeholders and their relationships to the technology, I hope to develop new approaches to local manufacture and project implementation.
