Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests lie at the intersection of applied mathematics, physics, and electrical engineering. I am particularly interested in solving problems that support the transition to a net-zero carbon society. My investigations encompass various power grids, ranging from isolated, remote microgrids to highly connected, large-scale power grids. I focus on understanding how modelling energy storage can facilitate the integration of renewable power sources into these power grids. Some topics of interest include:

  • Networks
  • Power grid stability
  • Lithium-ion supercapacitors
  • Integration of renewable energy
