Research interests

Lala Ismayilova is a PhD researcher in the School of Education at the University of Bristol and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Her research explores teacher well-being, educational policy, educational change, and organisational culture, with particular attention to how policy reforms shape teachers’ everyday professional lives and experiences. She is interested in the social, cultural, and institutional conditions that influence teachers’ well-being and in how educational systems conceptualise and respond to teacher well-being during periods of change.

Alongside her doctoral studies, Lala has experience teaching and supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students in higher education.
