My research examines how time and emotions shape the way people engage with and respond to Management Control Systems within organisations. I use a qualitative approach based on two field studies. The first is conducted in a UK charity that supports people with disabilities in finding employment. The second takes place in Vietnamese hospitals, focusing on junior doctors.
Alongside my studies, I work as a Teaching Assistant across three courses: Management Accounting for Strategy, Contemporary Issues in Accounting and Finance, and Strategy, Accounting and Finance for Management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I also serve as a Trustee and sit on the Finance Committee of a local charity in Bristol, where I help shape the organisation’s strategic direction and governance.
