Personal profile

Research interests

I have a mixed professional background in performing arts, science museums, art/science/technology collaborations and interactive experiences for heritage.

My doctoral research was an auto/ethnography of public engagement institutionalisation in a science research network. It analysed organisational life as texture and public engagement through the critical lens of care, with an emphasis on materiality and affects. In particular, it explored gendered dynamics of organisational mending and care work as well as how academic identities are produced in the context of public engagement institutionalisation.

In the Futures Studio, I now engage with the production and documentation of interdisciplinary research interrogating the making of sociodigital futures.

I am interested in STS approaches, public engagement in science and technology, more-than-human relationships of care, auto/ethnographical methods and interdisciplinary collaborations.
