Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests focus on improving efficiency in composites manufacturing.  This includes energy efficient cure, improving our understanding of defect and feature evolution during cure, human-robot collaborative manufacturing and knowledge management.  My work includes the NextCOMP programme, intended to deliver improved composite performance under compression with a bio-inspired, hierarchical approach, and a collaboration with CERN in composites for high energy physics.
