Research interests

Lily Frances is a practice-based PhD researcher, focussing on works by Belgian film director and artist Chantal Akerman.

An artist and poet working across video, sound, oil painting and poetry, Lily’s practice-based work considers intimate memory and the resonance of certain images, objects, and atmospheres.

Lily's research is funded by the South West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership.
