Research interests

Lin is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Geographical Sciences at the University of Bristol and an Early-Career Fellow at Future Earth. Her research focuses on the social and spatial dimensions of energy geography, with particular interests in energy poverty, energy vulnerability, and climate-related inequalities.

Before joining Bristol, Lin completed her PhD at the Sustainability Research Institute at the University of Leeds. Her PhD focused on the spatio-temporal evolution of energy poverty in China: assessment, drivers, and policies.
