Personal profile

Research interests

Currently, I'm Senior Aerodynamics Engineer at Sora Aviation, working on the development of a new heavy-lift eVTOL passenger aircraft. Previously, I worked at GKN Aerospace on computational aeroacoustics and aerodynamics and modeling for internal projects as well as being the primary investigator for the EU funded eVTOLUTION project.

As a Research Associate at the University of Bristol my focus on aeroacoustic noise reduction using porous materials (an EPSRC project), but I also supported two CleanSky2 (SilentProp, U-HARWARD). These projects encompassed work on experimental airflow permeability quantification, turbulence interaction noise, high-lift device noise and propeller noise investigations. I've also guided PhD students and conducted small group teaching sessions.

My PhD is in Experimental Aerodynamics and Aeroacoustics, exploring airfoil turbulence interaction noise reduction through porous materials. Alongside, I pursued interests in grid-generated turbulence, Triply-periodic minimal surface generation, additive manufacturing, and various noise reduction strategies.

Upon graduating I worked at Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team in Fuels, Oils and Logistics. I left this role after 18 months to persue a PhD in the field of aerodynamics and aeroacoustics.

I completed my integrated masters degree in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering MEng(Hons) at the University of Leeds, with a focus on computational aerodynamic analysis.
