Personal profile

Research interests

My current research involves the development of a range of modules (e.g. chemical scheme, CRI) within the global model (STOCHEM) and regional model (WRF-Chem) and the investigation of the impact of including a more detailed VOC oxidation scheme on global and regional atmospheric compositions and climate changes. My research interest also includes the development of the new isoprene mechanisms in CRI which includes OH recycling and terpenes (monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes) mechanism for the understanding the role of biogenic emissions and their impact on secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formation. I am also interested on modelling the Criegee chemistry in global and regional scales and investigating the impact of their reactions with important trace gases (e.g. organic acids, organic hydroperoxides) in terms of their lifetime reduction and SOA formation.
