Research interests
Mark's research interests are in financial reporting, including the links between accounting information and capital markets and audit markets. He is joint editor of Accounting and Business Research and was President of the European Accounting Association between 2023 and 2025. He is a member of the UKEB Academic Advisory Group, the ICAEW Research Advisory Group and the EFRAG academic panel. He teaches Advanced Financial Reporting at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
