Personal profile

Research interests

I'm interested in understanding internal variabilities of the carbon cycle and its reaction to external forcings throughout Earth history. To do so, I use and develop numerical Earth System models to perform sensitivity studies and test scenarios based on empirical evidence. In addition, I work on numerically-informed interpretative frameworks for proxy signals. During my PhD, I investigated Oceanic Anoxic Events (OAEs), major perturbations of the oceanic carbon cycle in the geological past. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Meteorology.
