Personal profile

Research interests

My research mainly focuses on Greek tragedy, satyr drama, and fragmentary plays, with particular attention to Euripides. I work on ancient dramaturgy and performance studies from multiple perspectives, and I am also interested in the scholarly and grammatical transmission of Greek drama. In addition, I study the modern literary and stage reception of Greek tragedy, as well as the relationship between Greek drama and vase painting. My PhD project examines Euripides’ Andromache, exploring its ancient dramaturgy and staging alongside selected aspects of its modern and contemporary theatrical reception.
