Research interests

This project explores how phenomenology, particularly Merleau-Ponty’s account of embodiment, can inform the development of robotic intelligence. It examines how a robot might transition from being an object to an embodied agent capable of perception and sense-making. By combining philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and robotics, the research aims to bridge the reality gap between synthetic models and lived, embodied cognition.
