Personal profile

Research interests

I am a postgraduate researcher in the solid mechanics research group. My main research interest is modelling high energy beam welding, with special interest in dissimilar cases. My work uses computation fluid dynamics models, machine learning algorithms and crystal plasticity finite element modelling to replicate the process of high energy beam welding, and estimate the residual stresses based on the phases and temperature history. My current work focuses on developing CFD solvers tailored to the specific needs in the mentioned processes.
