Personal profile
Research interests
With a medical background and an MSc in Nutrition, I used to work for the Determinants of Adolescent Social Well-being and Health (DASH) cohort study and the Born in Guangzhou Cohort Study (BIGCS). My previous research involves the association of nutrition/dietary behaviours with physical and mental health in adolescence and during the perinatal period. My PhD research is looking at the causal effect of maternal vegetarian diet during pregnancy on offspring health by applying a range of techniques such as Mendelian Randomisation (MR), sibling study, paternal negative control, epigenome-wide association study (EWAS), and metabolome-wide association study (MWAS).
