My current research is investigating whether the energy needs and priorities of refugee communities in Rwanda are being accurately considered and to evaluate the appropriateness of renewable energy interventions and market-based delivery mechanisms made as part of the £10m Renewable Energy for Refugees Programme.
The research is funded by an EPSRC DTP scholarship and draws on a range of theories including those from engineering, the social sciences and anthropology.
