Research interests
I am interested in understanding the subjective experience of animals used by humans (mainly horses and livestock) in order to identify management practices and training methods associated with improved animal welfare.
I am also interested in how education and communication – guided by principles of human behaviour change – can be used to translate these findings into tangible improvements for animals.
