Research interests
Ran Tao joined Bristol Business School as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance in August 2022. Before that, he worked at Queen's University Belfast. He graduated from the ICMA Centre, University of Reading where he obtained both PhD degree in Finance and Master degree in Financial Risk Management. His research interests focus on developing textual analysis of news content and applying this to empirical asset pricing studies.
