Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests focus on the intersection of gender, politics, and culture between the late thirteenth and early fifteenth centuries, especially with regard to times of political crisis in England. My current research looks at the mistreatment of aristocratic women by the authorities between the years 1307 and 1330, years which saw the deposition of Edward II, the establishment of the Mortimerian regime, and Edward III's assumption of power.
