Personal profile

Research interests

First year PhD student focusing on digital twin flight simulation technology as a tool for heritage engagement, learning & research.  This reflects my current commerical activity developing scenery content for Microsoft's Flight Simulator platform.

Specific areas of interest include the informal and formal learning impact of developing and disseminating this type of content, the definition and nature of "digital twins" as a technology and the potential for its use in areas such as landscape archaeology.

(Currently) unrelated areas of interest include the evolution of the English Castle and the history of "The Golden Age of Aviation".
