Professor Robert Tulloh is a Consultant Congenital Cardiologist at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, UK and Honorary Professor of Congenital Cardiology and pulmonary hypertension. He graduated in Medicine at Oxford University, trained in Paediatrics, and specialised in Paediatric Cardiology. His training locations included Dartmouth Medical School, Johns Hopkins Hospital and two years as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Child Health, London, undertaking research work on neonatal pulmonary hypertension. He was a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital before moving to Bristol in 2005.

He is involved actively in research to develop new methods of assessing and treating pulmonary hypertension, Kawasaki disease and RSVirus in children and adults with congenital heart disease. He has long been involved in education and teaching and has written several educational book chapters, has more than 200 published papers and has given over 100 presentations at international meetings.
