Personal profile

Research interests

I am a fourth year PhD student at the University of Bristol working with Professor Jeff Brunstrom and Dr Danielle Ferriday in the Nutrition and Behaviour Unit. My thesis focusses on the effects of portion size reduction on consumer choice behaviour. It is my hope that this research could support evidence-based policy decisions related to population health.

My passion is in supporting healthy-eating practices to encourage appropriate weight-management.

I have extensive practical experience in food psychology and I have conducted several short-term experiments with research participants - both in-person and virtual. Additionally, I have run a longer-term randomized-control trial exploring the effects of portion reduction interventions on 24-hour intake.

With a background in mental health support, I have a personal interest in encouraging positive techniques for managing personal and work-related well-being.
