Personal profile

Research interests

I'm interested in neuropsychology, and behavioural and biological psychology. I am currently completing a MSc by research with the Tobacco and Alcohol Research group in Bristol. My Master's research is focused on reward processing and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). My primary career aim is to develop further neurobiopsychological understanding of ADHD and it's relationship to substance use. I aim to incorporate my future research into practice, by developing novel interventions that improve various outcomes for individuals with a dual-diagnosis of ADHD and substance use disorder.  A side interest of mine is drug policy and the sociopolitical context of drug use and substance research. I currently help to develop drug education and harm reduction strategies aimed at University students in Bristol. My interests also extend into clinical settings, with a particular interest in how substances can be used therapeutically, to improve mental health.
