Personal profile

Research interests

I am part of the Lifecourse Epidemiology and Population Oral Health Group (LEPOH).  I work across a number of different areas, but my main research interests are (i) oral health research, (ii) physical activity and sedentary behaviour, (iii) lifecourse determinants of health, and (iv) pilot and feasibility studies.

My main teaching responsibilities involving designing and running quantitative research methods courses (based on e-lectures and interactive tutorials) for undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.  I lead the theme of Evidence-Based Practice for the new dental curriculum which was launched in September 2019.
