Research interests
Sandra's research investigates the relationship between gender identity and law. They are particularly interested in the legal regulation of gender in the postcolonial context, which they study through feminist and queer legal lenses. Sandra also maintains an active interest in reproductive justice, especially with regard to the situation of abortion rights in Ireland.
