Projects per year
I have been working in research with and for people with learning disabilities and other disabled people for the past 20 years. I have four key areas of interest, these include disabled childoods, disability in the context of exile through asylum or forced migration, (de)institutionalisation as well as sport and disability. My back ground is in social anthropology and my work is primarily qualitative. I have a particular interest in narrative research methods and in oral history. I have developed creative approaches in narrative research to encourage inclusion.
