Research interests
I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol. I have interests in curriculum development, near-peer learning and integration clinical relevance into the teaching of basic sciences. I am also interested in particular in the development of hidden academic skills, for example research skills and professional development.
I have Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and am undertaking a PhD in Medical Education. I have been awarded University of Bristol teaching awards in 2011, 2018 and 2019 including the Vice Chancellors Award for Education in 2018 for work on the new Medical School curriculum 'MB21'.
