Research interests

I try to understand how and why the climate system changes through time. My research focuses on past warm periods like the Cretaceous or the Eocene and what we can learn from them for our current climate emergency. I combine computer models with paleoclimate reconstructions to understand and constrain the physical mechanisms of past and future climate change and created the climatearchive.org platform to increase accessibility to the key data underlying my research.
