Research interests

My current research interests include:

  • The use of UAVs alongside current search and rescue techniques - to improve time taken for detection of missing people, reduce costs of search, and reduce dependence on large teams of search volunteers.
  • Lost Person Behaviour Prediction - generation of probability maps based on computer models of the movement of a missing person.
  • Trajectory and Path Planning – generation of routes and paths for UAVs to follow based on likelihood of detecting a missing person.
