Research Summary

Simon Sebire is Senior Lecturer in Physical Activity & Public Health. His research focuses on understanding the psychological foundations of physical activity, sedentary behaviour and health amongst children, adolescents and adults. Simon is particularly interested in studying human motivation for physical activity and how theories of motivation can be used to guide the development and evaluation of complex interventions aimed at increasing physical activity. Simon's also conducts research into parenting and physical activity.
