Research interests
I am completing my PhD in International Relations, focusing on the infrapolitical impact of popular music in the Korean Peninsula. My research lies at the intersection of Pop Culture and World Politics, with a particular emphasis on music as a site of political meaning-making. More broadly, I am interested in the role of affect within debates on resistance and political agency in global politics and history.
I have taught on various politics and international relations undergraduate courses. I have also previously worked as a researcher in factual television production.
I am a member of the British International Studies Association and the International Political Science Association.
