I work as an IFP EAP Coordinator in the Centre for Academic Language and Development (CALD) jointly overseeing the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) units in the Centre. I also teach on the EAP units on the IFP and jointly lead the EAP teaching team who teach on these units throughout the year. My research interests lie in feedback literacy and assessent feedback looking particularly at how students can be encouraged to engage with feedback through dialogic feedback loops and more recently how emoticons can be used to encourage greater engagement with feedback as well as encouraging greater social presence in online teaching environments.
