Research interests
Literature in English related to the environment, the nonhuman, the more-than-human and Others, in poetry and creative non-fiction as well as fiction. Any period, but in particular the 18th century to the present day. I am currently focusing on speculative fiction, 'craft' in writing and other media outputs, and ecogothic georgic. I am also a gardener and all my thinking is done outside with a trowel, secateurs and a spade.
