Research interests

The School Teacher Fellow, Dircetor of Outreach and Science Communicator in Residence positions has allowed research into the impact of Chemistry Outreach on school students, teachers and also on the postgraduates who co deliver such events. Bristol ChemLabS Outreach has had masters students  and a PhD student investigating this impact through the MSc by research and withiin the Masters in Science and Education (formerly MSc SURE) course at the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol.

The work in the development of the Dynamic Laboratory Manual has also led to research in the impact of supported pre-lab work in projects such as Foundation LabSkills and the Dynamic Laboratory Techniques Manuals for Biology and Physics and has impacted on other Faculties at the University of Bristol.
