My research interests span the areas of corporate social responsibility, nonmarket strategy, global strategy, and corporate governance. My research focuses on how businesses, ranging from large corporations to small-and-medium-sized enterprises, address grand challenges across different institutional contexts, with a particular focus on climate change. Building on different theoretical traditions, I seek to understand how businesses move beyond profit maximisation and generate meaningful societal impact. 

Pedagogically, I am committed to integrating sustainability into business education. I am passionate about developing interactive and innovative teaching methods—such as card games that combine role-playing, teamwork, and decision-making—to help students build the skills necessary to address grand challenges in a business context. I currently lead the MSc International Business and Strategy: Global Challenges, a programme accredited by the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), formerly known as IEMA. In addition, I have been elected to serve on the Division Teaching Team for the Organizations and the Natural Environment Division of the Academy of Management.
