Research interests
My research mainly focuses on the active matter non-equilibrium effect in the active dipolar colloids system. For now I am interested in the low packing fraction regime, where a parameter space corresponding to the dipole strength and self-propulsion speed can be obtained. In some area of the parameter space, fluctuating strings appear, which makes the theoretical derivations of the collective motion and the correlation length of strings be possible. Further research could be expanded to a higher packing fraction regime, where coalescences of traveling strings result in the existence of traveling sheets.
