Personal profile

Research interests

My research explores how key nuclear materials, such as zirconium alloys and stainless steels, deform and corrode in demanding environments. I also investigate hydrogen embrittlement in steels, with a particular focus on duplex and additively manufactured variants. To reveal the underlying mechanisms, I use advanced characterisation techniques, including high-resolution electron microscopy, NanoSIMS and neutron diffraction.
