Research interests

My PhD research focuses on the brain of galeaspids (a clade of stem-gnathostomes). The aim is to find how some gnathostome characteristics appeared and what may be the possible homologs in jawless vertebrates based on the reconstruction from exceptional preservation fossils. Besides, I also try to solve some phylogenetic problems in galeaspids.

Supervised by Prof. Philip Donoghue and Prof. Davide Pisani and funded by CSC.
