I’m a PhD student working under the supervision of Professor Laura Mickes. I conduct memory and decision-making research.
One project I ran involved how eyewitnesses’ individual differences impact the accuracy of suspect identifications. I was specifically interested in age, gender, and race. The work was for my MSc in Research project and will be submitted for publication soon.
Eyewitness evidence is interpreted by others, like the police and judges. And better understanding those interpretations is my PhD project.
I am a co-contributor of pyWitness v1.0, which is a python package designed to automate data analyses and modelling for eyewitness studies. Our preprint is available here https://psyarxiv.com/5ruks/ and the software is available here https://lmickes.github.io/pyWitness/.
I am also currently part of a group of scientists researching the effect of sleep on memory. We are replicating a highly cited paper.
